igus ReBeL with innovative Haply sensor

The Haply sensor is an advanced device capable of controlling the ReBeL robot. It captures the user’s movements and translates them to the ReBeL. In addition, the Haply sensor provides a force feedback function. This feature allows the user to feel a physical response from the ReBeL, leading to a more interactive and realistic user experience.

The integration of the Haply sensor and the ReBeL robot is done through an iRC application. The iRC application serves as a bridge between the sensor and the robot, enabling seamless communication between the two. The communication is carried out via the CRI interface, a standardized communication protocol developed for interaction between various robotic components.
