Efficient Plastic Part Handling with RBTX Varioshaker Lite and ReBeL Robot

Precise sorting and handling of plastic parts are essential for automated workflows. In this application, plastic components were sorted using vibration technology to ensure their positions could be recognized by a camera and transmitted to a robot for coordinated processing. The RBTX Varioshaker lite, paired with a ReBeL robot, ifm 2D camera, and Schunk EGP 25 gripper, provided a cost-effective and efficient solution to automate this system and streamline operations.

What is the Application?

The setup automates sorting and handling of plastic parts. The Varioshaker lite vibrates and arranges parts for recognition by an ifm camera, which sends positional data to the ReBeL robot for accurate pickup and processing.
