In this application, igus shows how error avoidance costs can be reduced creatively and simply with low-cost robotic solutions. In this case, the two degrees of freedom of the igus line gantry are perfectly sufficient to pick up the blanks with the help of a small parts gripper from Schunk, check them and pre-sort them into "out of order" and "in order". Most important, however, is the high throughput that we were able to achieve with this application. Within 2 months the project cost of 10.000€ was amortised. In addition, a compact application like this is an eye catcher at every trade fair.
