Voice assistant and robot work hand in hand

Is the way to the fridge too far again? No problem! Commonplace Robotics has the solution!

In this application video, Commonplace Robotics GmbH has connected its mobile, autonomous robot platform with an Alexa voice control. The voice command is forwarded by Alexa to the robot, which then processes it. It moves to the fridge, picks up the beer and then hands it over.

What is special about this system is that it is based entirely on low-cost components. In the not too distant future, systems like this could be used in restaurants, at trade fairs or even privately.
