In this customer test, an articulated arm robot was used for a classic pick and place task. The goal was to pick up components, place them in the laser box and remove them again after the scanning process. As an example, a pen was used as a component. To pick up this thin pen, the robot was equipped with a small end effector.
The 5-axis jointed-arm robot has a reach of 790 mm and can accommodate a payload of max. 3 kg. If required, it can also be mounted on an additional drylin axis.
